Appointment Policies

At StarVet we take pride in providing each patient with access to medical care in a timely manner. When a client does not show without giving proper notice or cancels their appointment after the required time frame – it prevents another patient from being able to be seen.

In order to best serve the needs of our community we ask that you please be courteous and promptly notify our staff, 24 hours prior, if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.

Patient Arrival Policy

All pets must be restrained upon arrival at the practice.

For your safety, the safety of other clients and the safety of your pet – please make sure your pet is properly restrained – either on a leash or in a carrier while in the parking lot, lobby and exam room.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that in order to be respectful to the needs of our patients, you provide our staff with the required 24-hour notice of the appointment cancellation.

Cancellation of an Appointment

We understand circumstances may arise that leave you unable to keep your appointment. Upon scheduling, we reserve the doctors time and provide skilled support staff just for you and your pet. As appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation (24 hours) will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely medical care.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

To cancel appointments, please call or text us directly at (414) 304-1818. If you do not reach the receptionist, please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, pet’s name and appointment time on our voicemail.

A “No Show” is considered a missed appointment without prior 24-hour notice of a cancellation.
